Tractor & Farm Categories

See a brief description of each segment below, but please don't hesitate to call us if you have any questions.

Implement, also called flotation, wagon or rib implement, are farm tires manufactured in both rib style and traction style. These tires are designed with a wide footprint, have a larger air volume and operate at a low inflation pressure. The net result is a tire that resists sinking into the soil providing a flotation effect which reduces rutting and minimizes soil compaction.

Rib Front Tractor

Rib Front Tires are farm tires designed for the front of two-wheel drive tractors. This style of tread is characterized by up to four separate and distinct high ribs running in the same direction as the tire rotation. They provide excellent steering control in loose soil and offer exceptional resistance to side slip.

Rear Tractor

Rear Tractor, also referred to as Agricultural or Ag Tires, typically feature deep angled tread bars designed to administer maximum traction needed for pulling heavy loads or large farm equipment. Although categorized as "rear tractor tires", these farm tires are also intended to be used on the front of 4WD and MFWD tractors. They are manufactured in both bias and radial construction and have different tread depths for specific soil conditions.

Turf Tractor

Turf Tractor Tires, often called "R-3 Tires" or "Diamond Tread", are designed to be used on terrain where the disturbance of an aggressive lug-type tire is not wanted. Engineered for equipment used on golf courses, cemeteries and sandy environments. Other applications include road construction and highway maintenance.

How to Choose the Right Tire

There are a few very important factors to consider you before you buy. The most important things you need to know are:

Other factors to consider
  • Expected time of ownership
  • Hours of use/year
  • Type of use
